The adventure begins…..
By: Jay | September 21st, 2007
Hello! I want to welcome all passionate Lens, Ligue 1, French football and football fans in general. Since there are so many fine blogs already available on the offside I decided to bring my favorite club to this fine virtual community. Although our beloved tigers lost some of our best talent during the January transfer window and our Ligue 1 performance has been very disappointing thus far, last week’s result against top side Nancy could be a sign of good things to come. Nevertheless, l’sang et or turned in a less than stellar result against FC Kopenhagen in the home leg of their first UEFA Cup matchup drawing 1-1. Hopefully we will see a better showing from the boys in Copenhagen. In the meantime I will try to update this blog with the latest news and views on Lens from France and elsewhere.

Welcome to The Offside, Jay!
I can’t wait to hear your say on this summer’s lot of transfers : Roux, Kalou, Itandje, Jussiê, Runje, Akalé, Cousin and Keita…
At least Lens can’t go much lower than they are now, and Feindouno and (our) Monterrubio will do all they can to save you from a humiliating season. After all, Monterrubio is used to poor starts to his seasons!
Good luck!

GREEEEEAT !
My 2 favorites clubs are represented here now ! I’m glad !
Welcome to you, I’m a Sang et Or since I was born, my father is, and my entire family still is… That’s a family affair !
Lens had a draw with Toulouse tonight (1-1). That’s not a bad result… JPP is managing his team. I’m confident for the future

Welcome Jay!
Your blog is just so so…bright and…yellow! It is blinding! Hopefully Lens can do better this year after last season heartbreaking miss on Champions League football.
